Working Crafts Marquee 2019
Anyone interested in having a stall in the Craft Marquee should get in touch with Maureen Atkinson on 01937 845638 or email: mosscarrs@hotmail.com
We are always looking for new exhibitors with original craft ideas but the main proviso is that the products that are being sold have to be made by the stall holder and not bought in to be re-sold. We also encourage the exhibitors to demonstrate their crafts if this is practical and most of our stallholders are able to do this. We think that this makes our craft marquee rather special and creates more interest from the public who in turn are probably more likely to buy the products.

Show President Fiona Harris presents the trophy to this years Best In Working Crafts, the York & District Guild of Spinners & Weavers
Demonstrations are taking place throughout the day on Felt Making, Weaving & Spinning, Chair caning & Tatting
2018 Exhibitors
The Working Craft marquee prides itself on selling good quality hand-made products and this year we are pleased to welcome Olsen Metal Art from Kippax who create unique gifts using recycled metal items, such as cutlery, to make beautiful and fun artworks.
Another newcomer to the show is Foxy Featherz from Darlington who make brooches and unusual gifts decorated with real feathers, some incorporating spent cartridges and bullet casing. Items can be made to order such as fascinators to compliment an outfit and she can also make decorations using feathers for weddings and parties.
